My kid talked me into getting a blue lobster for the african cichlid tank (they said, ooh look at that! and I was sold LOL).
we've had it for a week or so and it's already shed it's skin and seems happy. it's slightly pinker than it was when I bought it though.. is that from diet? ie. shrimp pellets and whatever cichlid food it scrounges. it also munches on sword plants I put in there because I had extras.
anyway, just looking for tips and experiences.
thanks!

This may seem strange, but I myself did become very aquainted with a pet shop store owner and he once told me that many sellers of aquatic animals will somehow dye the creatures blues, and that dye soon will fade away. Some pet shop owners have on there tanks lobsters for sale the size of crayfish. More than likely they are just that "crayfish" Although their really are big blue lobsters, I know nothing about them!
