HI,I NEED HELP ON DECIDING WHETER I SHOULD KEEP MY AGRESSIVE FEMALE TIGER BARB WITH MY 2 MALES OR PUTTING HER INTO HER OWN TANK. I HAVE 3 TIGER BARBS (2MALES,1FEMALE),AND MY QUESTION IS IS IT NORMAL FOR THE FEMALE TO BE CHASING THE MALES AROUND THE TANK ALL THE TIME. IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THEIR PLAYING AROUND. THE FEMALE IS THE BIGGEST OUT OF THE 3 BARBS AND SHE IS ALWAYS TRYING TO NIP AT MY OTHER BARBS. WHAT SHOULD I DO? IP: Logged |

Hi Azianboi343, That is just the nature of Tiger Barbs. They are nippers. I'm surprised that it is just one doing the nipping. IP: Logged |

if you have the room for them in your tank i would suggest buying at least 3 more tiger barbs, they are schooling fish and are better kept in groops of at least 6 or more, and they are natural nippers, especially if there are only a few in the tank IP: Logged |
