If possible I would put the Pictus in another tank. I would also be surprised if you are able to keep 2 larger Arowanas together. Normally when they get larger they fight.

Thanks kc5gvn,

What's interesting is that when I purchsed the Arowana's together they were about six inches in lenght. I put them in a 75 gal. tank together. As they have grown together now at 12 inches, their seems to be a strong bond between the two. Although they once in a while snap at each other, its always been very graceful, "really". Before the Arowana's I hade two Red Belly Pacu's. When they grew up, man did I have a problem. It appeared to me that they were at times fighting, by of course snapping. Although not appearing to be very aggressive. They are a timid fish unlike they're cousin the Pirana, and because of this, when ever I would suddenly past they would as much bounce of the glass! When I separated The two fish independantly they went wild within there tanks, as though they missed one another? Therefore I interpret they're mild aggressiveness as domineering, at the same time Tolerable with each other.

The end result in my opinion is that in a resonable size tank, yes two competative fish would find comfort with each other outsde of the wild???? In other words theirs no fight to the death!

Thanx again
