Can you tell me if there are male & female tequila sunrise guppies? I was told there was only males. How do they reproduce if there is only males?

Its simple to sex any guppy, the males have a gonopodium, which is a hollow tube that they use to inseminate the female,it looks like a point sticking out just in front of the anus, females just have a nice round fin there.Females are also somewhat larger and dont usually have the flowing fins that a male has.If there were no female tequila sunrise guppies,it would be extremelly difficult to reliably breed them.Im not certain, but I think that that is untrue.

I'm not famaliar with Tequila Sunrise guppies, but I can speculate from study done years ago regarding coloration. Red and Yellow coloration are recessive genes and generally considered throwback (earlier generations) colors. My GUESS would be that if you were to bred male and female Sunrise Guppies you would end up with a Red and Yellow Cobra coloration pattern. If you bred a male Sunrise to most likely a solid Yellow tailed female you would retain the Sunrise pattern. AGAIN this is just speculation from color studies done years ago.
