our gold fish (that is black and gold) is just sitting on the bottom. We changed his water after comming back from vacation because he was not acting right. We had a neighbor feed the fish while we were gone and found out that he was feeding him more then we do and we haven't seen any fish poop in the water and wonder if he could be pluged up he is fat and his belly seems to be distended other than that he seems fine to the eye. we don't want to lose him and wonder if there is something we can do. From your description it sounds like he might just be constipated. Try boiled peas, my brother used them for his gouramies and it worked well. You may need to chop them up depending on how big he is. Good luck! IP: Logged |
