I had posted a message about brownish stuff developing on my plants and decorations and I was told it was brown algae. I'm afraid to get a pleco/sucker fish because my cichlids killed my other one. Would it do me any good just to get one snail because I heard if I had more than one they would reproduce and snails would overtake the tank? Also, my cichlids are trying to eat the brown algae off of one of the decorations, is that o.k.? IP: Logged |

yeh it is ok for your fish to eat it, it is like food, my gold fish like to eat the algae, and i dont think it is a good idea to get an algae eater or snails for your tank as snails have been known to do more harm than good. ------------------ IP: Logged |
