I want a 5 or 10 gallon fresh water aquarium, but I have only had betta fish and I don't know how many fish, of what sizes, and what goes well together 2 put in there! Please help! IP: Logged |

with my exp, keeping a group of tetras is good (my fav. kind are the neon tetras) and also keeping gourami's is nice. IP: Logged |

Tetras are a good bet, there are tons of variety. I personally like bloodfin, neon or cardinal (not the same, but similar) and head and tail light tetras. Another good option would be smaller species of danios like zebra danios. They are very active. For algae eaters, get snails or ottocinclus IP: Logged |

i would go whit neons....the tank is smal so neon,you can put alot in there..mabe 10 smal neons :P IP: Logged |
