I'm having a very hard time sexing my severums. They are still very small (maybe an inch in length). I requested one male and one female when I purchased them. The guy at the pet store seemed to think he knew what he was doing. But honestly, I could not see any difference in any of the fish. I was looking for a fuller body, longer fins, different coloring, etc. I couldn't notice any difference. But he insured me that I had a male/female. Well, I'm really not so sure now, because one of them has definitely become the alpha fish and chases the other around the tank. Will a male/female pair do this? Or did I indeed end up with 2 of the same sex and they are fighting for territory? Does anyone have an idea? Thanks!
