not a very urgent question...but does any one know how to remove those Ca/Mg build ups from the front of the tank? I have a bunch of leaky tanks (which are either fixed or are being fixed)that have that white accumulation on the glass from prolonged leaking. I've been using water or orange windex and a razor blade but i still have some deposits and a filmy layer where they were. And they will NOT go away no matter how long or hard I scrub. My arms really hurt...ideas?

Your LFS should carry a product to remove it but it's probably expensive. You could try lime away or CLR something along that line. And someone suggested to me that it will steam off like with a wallpaper steamer I have yet to try it but he said it works. good luck.

try getting a scraper for like paint that will hold a razorblade then you can really push hard and it should come off
