Ive had two clown loaches for about two months and have been through the worst of times and the best of times. The best was thier habit of eating zucchini upside down from a vegetable clip. Today, as usual i put in a slice for the guys and my pleco. Usually Ill sit and watch them eat, but today I was busy. As i left the house a half hour later, something in the tank caught my eye. My friendlier loach was caught in the clip upside down! The clip was clamping right on his gills, so needless to say he didnt make it. I was pretty distraught, but the purchase of a new fish always helps me get over something like this. In two days I also have two new loaches ready to come out of my quarantine tank to keep my timid loach company, so ill be alright. Just wanted to get this out there and make sure you clip in the vegetables good or sit and watch while your fish eat. I'm out.
