I have a Arrowana Fish.. im not sure if he's ok or not but I never seen this before.. he got these white spots all over his face.. and on top of him.. does anyone know why? please reply back a.s.a.p. thank you IP: Logged |

i use Quick Cure from Walmart works good remove your carbon media from your filter and follow the instructions.im sure its one drop per gallon. it will turn your water blue, it will clear. IP: Logged |

There are three ways you generally get ick in the tank. 1)Introduction of new fish into the tank that are already infested. 2)Poor tank conditions resulting in bacterial overload. 3)Rapid temperature changes, + or - 2 degrees in a 24 hour period. Before treating the tank, make sure that you have gotten the conditions right in the tank by doing a 20% water change from the bottom to clean the gravel. Also make sure that the temperature is stable. If you do not have a heater in the tank get one so that after you have treated the tank the ick doesn't come back. IP: Logged |
