Hello jewel, "noticed that he has air bubbles in his poo sack...". Are the air bubbles uniform in size. Also are they slightly milky in coloration. I'm suspecting that he is a she. If so, they usually lay their eggs on plants toward the top. You might take your Goldfish to your local pet shop and have them look at it to determine if what your are seeing are eggs or air bubbles. If it is truly air bubbles you might do a search on Gas Bubble Disease, but I don't think that is the case. Hope this helps. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the info but it definatley was not milky in colour I even got out the magnifying glass to have a look they were see through so I will look up that disease, My gold fish now seems a little lethargic he is swimming ok but comes to the corner I feed at the top of the water and just sits! he seems a little sad. Oh yeah by the way they were uniform in size adn they were very clear he is not gaping for breath more like playing dead without being dead, I'm going to change the water but dont want to put him/her under too much stress. IP: Logged |
