My female betta is amazing. She is twice the size of even large males. she is a vibrante red, about 2 1/2 to 3 inches long about an inch around everywhere and she's just over 5 years old.....wow IP: Logged |

I know they rarely sell female bettas. Actually, I've never ever seen a petsore selling female bettas. I've also heard that when betta eggs hatch, it's always dominantly male babies than female babies. Although I did own 2 female bettas before. But I didn't buy them, they were given to me by a friend who breeds his own bettas. And I've never come across such a huge female betta. You're doing good with her! IP: Logged |

I used to have a very hard time finding female bettas around here till about a year ago. I went to a pet store here a few days ago and thier was a tank full of them (about 15), and thier were all pretty drab in color IP: Logged |
