Hi this is just my own opinion from what people have told me on this site your tank seems a little too crowded I wanted to put two oscars in a 66 gallon tank and people were giving me trouble and saying that was way too small. Red belly acus get huge over 12 inches for shure and the oscar will get big too plus the convicts are very good parents so they will protect there fry agaisnt anybody ( I have my own) so I would say don't just listen to me listen to some other people this is just my opinion but I would say if you wanted to keep all those fish and keep them all healthy upgrade to a way bigger tank just my opinion.

??? ..."the tiger oscar has fin rot"..."since I have had the pacu their back fins have become a little ragged." Does the Tiger Oscar suffer from fin rot or from the Pacus nipping at his fins?

If left untreated your Oscar's fins will not only become a little ragged, they will become a whole lot ragged. That is the result of fin rot. While it is possible that the Pacus may be nipping at his fins, you have already diagnosed him to have fin rot and he needs to be treated for that.

Note to: Blueice... I have 2 foot long oscars in a 20 gallon tank, and have had them for over 2 years like that. They have had no deseases. Moving 3 times had no effect on them. They are fine. Figure that one out.
