Does anyone here have experience breeding convicts? I have been reading how easy they are to breed and it sounds like such fun! Do you keep just the pair in a tank, or what other mates do you keep with the breeding pair? but my real question is.. what do you do with all the fry? how many survive to be juveniles and are they very salable? thanks for any info! Hello there I have some experince my convicts have bread about twice within the last 3 months ( I got the male in august and had 3 females before that) and the baies all eventually either got eaten by other fish and dissapeared. My convicts are mating again I beleive and hopefully they will have better look . You should try breeding them it is fun to try it may take a few batches before the babies become sellable IP: Logged |
