You are looking at a custom built tank. Your best resource for that would be a local glass company. Be sure the person you talk to has some knowledge, or better yet, some experience on building aquariums. Glass thickness is very critical on aquariums that size. You will also need to decide whether you want to go with glass or plexiglass. On glass it will have to be thicker and is more likely to break than plexiglass. With plexiglass it will tend to bow more than glass and scratches very easily. With plexiglass you will also need to specify a plexiglass that doesn't yellow easily. Also you need to make sure that the foundation on your dwelling will support the weight of a tank that size (roughly 4 tons). Hope this helps. IP: Logged |
