i'm looking forward to buying a 100 gallon tank in a couple months and the place i'm getting it at which is rick's probably there really high in price and i'm not so sure how much the tank will be i know a 55 gallon tank is $90.00 and nothing comes with it so i was wondering how much you think a hole setup tank will cost me for a 100 gallon i'm thinking probably $400.00 i want the good emperor filter a good heater 200 watt i'll need a hood plus a $20.00 flurescent bulb and do you think this would be a good tank setup or am i missing something thanks. A 200w heater is a little small for that size tank. You should have 3-5 watts per gallon, preferably 5 watts/gallon. If you are going to have large fish I would suggest Titanium. Check this site for heaters: http://www.jehmco.com/PRODUCTS_/HARDWARE_/Heaters/body_heaters.html IP: Logged |
