hey guys.. i know this is an old thread but try to help me out neways;... im brand new to this hobby but know all the stuff, ive been researching for about 6months. i have a 45 gallon tank... (looks very nice, hehe)... was wonderin if i could put some red bellied piranhas in there. would they get too big? i read a message saying that any piranha could stay in a 25gallon?? input needed, thnx in advance
P.S. if i introduce them while they are small could bala sharks be compatible with the red bellys, or just a side dish

25 gallons is not enough room for any adult piranha Matt!!!

Red bellied piranhas will get around 10". Save the fish the torture and get a bigger tank. 45 gallons minimum for 2 adult reds. be nice to your fish! let them thrive!

A black Piranha or Rhom will get areound 16-18"!! you think 45 gallons will be enough for that fish? the think wont be able to move! thats torture!

25g is enough room for a piranha only by itself but a bigger tank might be better
