I am trying to breed bettas, but am not sure how to tell when the female is ready. I know there is supposed to be a white tube, which my female has, but when I tried, she always ran from the male. I thought she was supposed to be attracted to him, and make it easy. Is she able to tell when teh male is ready, because the male wasn't. She was in there to encourage him to get ready! Thanks!

i bred bettas when i was 5. easy as baking a cake. first, u gotta move it into a container like about 5 gallons. try to do it in the summer since they breed only when it's hot. throw the two in and thats it. it's raising the bettas thats the hard part. another hard part if finding two compatible bettas.

I'm not too sure about breeding bettas. Once I've wanted to but never did. I have one better. His name is Romeo, he is blue and purple. I could never seem to find a female.

Breeding bettas is one of the hardest things you will ever do.

hey i tried this once and gave up but i talked to a guy that had done it and he said you needed to have like three females and one male. also make sure they are in a neutral tank. and let them be for a while.
