I had 4 iridescent sharks and when I came home tonight 1 was dead, 1 was floating on his side and 2 were ok. The nitrite levels in the tank were high so I put in nitro-zorb and that's been the only change to the tank. I don't know why they are dying the pH is fine the temp is fine. I have a filter and a air stone so they are gettinge nough O2. But they look skinny tonight and weren't eating their food like usual and they look thin. PLEASE HELP I DON'T WANT MY BABIES TO DIE!!!!!! Another shark was dead this am when I woke up!!! Please help! [This message has been edited by HCL113083 (edited 06-19-2003).] IP: Logged |

No I'm not a newbie! One other shark died after the first, but now the other two are fine. The tank should have been big enough for then all since I was planning on their large size. I had just changed the filter to a new type of bag and I am pretty sure that is what did it. The others are doing quite fine now that I put the older bag back in. Thanks for ur reply though.
