My Arowana has torn fins and its been like this for a while now, what can I do to help it heal quicker or at all?
And it jumps around a lot when people come near, what can I do to reduce that?

Regarding the jumping, with Arowanas you have to start when they are very small. You need to reach in the tank very frequently and make small changes like moving a rock or plant just a few inches or cleaning the gravel or tank, anything to get him used to you reaching into the tank. The larger they get the harder it is to get them settled down. Regarding the torn fins, try to determine how they are being torn and eliminate the problem. They will heal in time. The best and just about the only way to get them to heal is to maintain the tank and water at optimal conditions.
