i've got to silver sharks and a couple of scavengers, is it possible to get 1 red tail shark? some pet shops i went to said yes and some said the two silver sharks might gangup on the red tail shark?

what do u reckon?

I dont know what you mean about silver sharks are you meaning bala sharks?Theses aharks are silver with black fins.Is this what you have?If I were you I would not add the redtailed shark unless you have about 5-10 of them theses fish are both very aggresive.Remamber if you do have balas they will grow to about 8 incges long.the red sharks will grow about 9 inches but are not as aggresive.

Balas grow much bigger than 8 inches ive seen some at 14 inches! but average is 10-12 inches. You will need a big tank in the future or else you need to find someone who will take em.

I had a bala shark in the same tank...80 gal...with a red tail. At first the red tail was more aggressive....When we came back from vacation our bala shark was missing and eye. I'm not sure how it happened but a couple of days later the red tail shark died. I suppose the bala had had enough. Good luck!

Not sure what silver sharks are.. but a question for those mentioning bala sharks.. I thought these were of the catfish family.. ie. very docile. Do they change as they get very large? From what I've seen/read they are very timid fish.

Sorry to break everyones hearts, but these fish aren't even sharks. The only sharks that live in freshwater are way to big to be kept in any aquarium, so just relax and treat them like any other fish you have. Just introduce them and see how it works out.
