I would like to use sand instead of gravel for my two piranhas, but can anyone recommend what type to use? I once used coral sand for my old marine tank, could i use that again or would it make the water to hard?

Dont aadd coral sand it is for saltwater not freshwater and will slowlty kill your fish!Use freshwater sand only,you could probaly find it at your lfs...
