im curious...how fast will an oscar grow to be an adult if bought still a juvenile. im gonna buy one but i want to get the facts straight first.....thanx for your help

I dont know about everyone elses, but mine grew about 2"/Month with a hardy diet and 25% weekly water changes + bi-monthly gravel washings.

My oscars grew at about an inch and a half each month until they were about 6" then they slowed down to about half an inch a month. I highly recemend oscars even though they are a bit messy [big turds] because after about a month my oscars started to let me pet them and they scatered or nipped my mom when she tried to pet them! Anyway good luck with your aquarium.
