Would I be able to keep one black piranha(s. rhombeus) in a 33.5 gallon tank? Please help a newbie!! IP: Logged |

Well they grow to about 18 inches when full grown. that would do for while the fish is a baby but you will need to move up really soon you need about 100 gallon IP: Logged |

You will be ok in the 33 gallon for quite a while. They Rhoms grow very slow. Keep regular water changes. IP: Logged |

yah i agree with winkey the blacks grow from research 1/2 inch a year with a spurt in the beginning just save over time to upgrade him later just give him hiding spots on the ground and room to chase food IP: Logged |
