while I was sleeping my fancy goldfish exploded! I knoticed pieces of it floating in the water but the other 4 fish in the tank didn't seem bothered. Why did it explode?

What do you mean by exploded. If you have
some aggressive fish they probaly ate it and left the scraps behind. Or your goldfish must of been seriously sick. I never heard
of an "exploding" fish before.
