I have two irids (2") and 4 balas (1-3") in a 40 gallon tank. Soon I will be purchasing a 125 gallon tank. I have been feeding them tropical flakes twice a day. In the evening, I give them a little pinch of frozen bloodworms as well. I also tried frozen beef heart but they wouldn't touch it. Both are sally's brand. They are eating but I am fairly new to this and wondered if this is right. The largest Bala seems to go a little crazy after the bloodworm feeding. He tends to jerk around at the side of the tank and suck (or at least try) the side of the tank.

my red tail and irr.eat a mix of trop. flake food,frozen bloodworms,and frozen brine shrimp.
