I have had my 55 gallon tank for 6 years now and have had my Pacu for about 2 years. I had recently had a bad problem with Ph levels..stayed LOW for a long time..no chemical would work.. But, finally found the simple answer...less gravel. I know, DUH. Now I only have enough gravel to hold down my plants..no more Ph levels problems...just thought I could help any newbie to Pacus like me.
