i have icky icky fungus that has taken the many lives of my fish. i have tryed three different medicins right now. my question is, how on earth did i get this stuff? i havent had any new fish to introduce it. the newest fish i had was fine, and if he did have something i treated the tank with paragon 2, so if it did have something that would have gotten rid of it. i also check my new fish to see if they have anything befor i purchase them anywho. could the paragon 2 have done something to cause this icky icky fungus? or what. i havent had fungus before so, i dont think it would be in the rocks. please help me if you can.

How long has it been since you changed the filter? also, are the syphon pipes you use for cleaning free of mildew? also, have you tried Maracyn/maroxy..something like that.. for fungus, comes in a little white bottle on a card. good luck!

First, you didn't say if the fungus is on the fish or the tank itself.

Second, if its on the tank then its poor maintenance and overfeeding.

third, if on the fish then its the fish source (where you are buying them) or poor maintenance.
