I just received 2 2" piranhas and I want to know why they don't come up to the top and feed. I just leave feeder goldfish in the tanks because I can't get them to feed when I want them to.
Oh I have 2 3" Oscars in the tank also. The Oscars fins are getting torn up by the piranhas. Do you think it will be okay to keep them all together because I don't any where else I could move them. They are in a 29 gallon tank.

Keep the piranhas in their own species tank. When they are little like that, their main diet is fins, later graduating to whole fish.

Depending on your species of piranha, most grow over 10 inches and your 29 gal. is much to small for them and your oscar together.
