Ok, I have 2 Red belly Pacus in mah 55 gallon tank. I have a slight Problem. THey keep getitn this cloud on there eyes!! I have to been to the local pet stores and have even talked to a coupl of other people. What should I do??? I have tried MeLA-fix and i dK what else to try. Will someone pleaser Reply... Your going to have more than just cloudy eye problems. But first, you need to do some water changes. Cloudy eyes on serrasalmin fishes usually means an ammonia spike. So get to doing regular 10% water changes 2 to 3 times a week. Don't over feed. And lastly, you'd better buy a swimming pool of at least 1,000 or more gallons cause them pacus are gonna outgrow your little aquarium!

I have a pacu and i had the same problem believe it or not....i then was told to change the water and to not put as much food in for the fish at once..this worked.....and yes your pacu will get HUGE!
