I think my tank has Ick. My 4 Red-bellied Pacu's have been getting the white spots on their scales and fins....Ick. Anyone have a good remedy for my fishies?

Turn up the heat (above 88F) for a couple of days and add 1 teaspoon of salt per gallon. You can kill the ich after it hatches by heat and the small addition of salt to calm the fish. Be sure you yank out any live plants. The encrusted eggs will be on your plants too. Better still go to the pet store and get some good medication. Just be sure it is labled for use with characid fishes.
