Be careful about putting extra ones in, that are not from the original school... I've tried that a couple of times and both times my normal pirahna's had problems with the new ones.... [This message has been edited by Auspetian (edited 10-29-2002).] IP: Logged |

If you use do decide to put additional fish in...rearrange the decorations and do a complete water change. Piranhas are territorial and have their areas staked out. By changing things around and doing a water change will motivate them to establish new territory and save your new introductions the hassle of being bitten. Its not fool proof, but it does help.
