I bought a new baby piranah and it is floating at the top it is still alive but i was wondering what water temp it should be or if there are any other problems i could have with my tank IP: Logged |

i have 2 baby pirahnas and i was told to keep the temp around 80-82 and the ph should be at 7. IP: Logged |

hello, if your piranha is on the top it's possible it's not getting enough oxygen. they'll stay at the stop if they aren't getting any from the water below. keep your water between 78 and 81 degrees and feed the babies baby brine shrimp and finely crushed, highly meat packed flake foods. good luck, feel free to mail me back at picklestick@hotmail.com if you have any other questions i can help you with.
