i have 2 in a 55 gallon tank and to me they are not growing.

how long have you had them there for, because they will take time to grow. They last for 10 Years

you probably wont notice your fish growing ever, have a friend come over and take a look see if they notice anything without you saying, or the harder thing, wait till they get up to a glass hold a ruler up snap a pic do this every now and than =p
