I have a South American Red Tail catfish that I would like to adopt out. He is only a baby, about 8 inches long but will grow to be between 4-6 feet. I'm not sure of the sex of the fish, but it is very friendly, and feeds well on pellets and small fish. He is extremely heathly, I just want him to be in a good home. DID YOU FIND AN APPROPIATE HOME FOR YOUR CATFISH YET? I HAVE AN EXCELLENT PLACE FOR IT IF YOU DIDN'T FIND A HOME YET. I JUST BOUGHT A BABY ONE 2 WEEKS AGO HE'S 3" LONG I'M EXCITED. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

I am trying to find a home for a 5 ft Red Tail Catfish. He is currently in a 500 gal pond in a petstore. The pond is a black rubber lined rectangle od landscape timbers. There are no rocks, sand or plants. His only companions are feeder fish and an occassional visitor of the human variety. Goliath can barely turn around in there, much less explore and be a fish. Please think VERY HARD about getting a large fish! If any knows a very large aquarium that may take Goliath, please let me know.

DANG DANG DANG DANG the fish starts out at a cute 3 inches then 8inches then 5 freaking feet ....!!!! that will fill a 30 gallon tank right up

ill i can say is DANG and y do pet stores sell fish like that
