catfish are easyilly raised and fed. For the bristle nose you just need to feed them 1 algae wafer/disc per week and they can survive off the algae in the tank in the mean time. Just provide a few rocks with caves for them to hide in, nothing to dramatic. They can go with nearly all fish(except the cichlids or a marine tank) and grow rather slow to their max size of 10". Breedign is extremely easy. Just get a male and female and put them in your community tank and after a while you will see the male hiding in a cave or crevess in your rock or wood. He should be stretched out and will be "fanning" the eggs. He protects the eggs until they hatch(about 10-11 days)then he just pretends there not there. The fry are small so they might get eaten by any other larger fish so you could move them to another tank(aprox. 10 litres is fine)until they are big enough. The fry will eat cucumber, lettuce or spinnach that is anchored down in their tank. my 11, 13 day old fry stripped a large piece of lettuce down to the ribs in about 10 hrs!
hope this helps
