I've got my 1 bala shark in with tetras, guppies, platies, loaches and catfish in a 2' tank. I've got 22 fish total. It just eats the dried food that the others eat and it loves frozen peas. I keep my tank at 28 degrees celcius, but most books say 23-24 keeping it at a higher temperature keeps white spot disease away IP: Logged |

A bala shark in a 2 ft tank eating peas with 22 other fish and a watwer temp of 28 deg. cel. I dont know how you can do it i just got four today that were about 6" long and put them in a 55gal tank with a pleco and 5 tetras and thats all that will live there. The water temp is 78 deg. fer. as recom. and we will be feeding flake and brine as the experts suggests so that our balas have the best chance to live the ten year life span they are possible of living.
