Hi i have a 2' tank setup in my room and i want to get oscars and breed them. But i realise you need a rather large setup. Would a 4' tank be good enough? If not what is the minimum i would require?

ok 1 oscar needs a 55 gal. tank minimum and 2 oscars need at least 100.oscars r a bigger fish they can get up to about a foot to about a foot and 4 inches. you cant tell if there male or female till they r older.
if u dont have the rite size tank or plan 2 be able to buy one in a soon piriod of time dont buy one they grow fairly fast.
