Are you wanting SeaHorses in your Reef tank? What kind of fish do you have so far? If you are wanting a seperate tank for seahorses you could go as small as a 20 gallon. There aren't alot of fish that go well with seahorses, but you can still have a few. A starfish such as a brittle, a few shrimp (peppermint, camel, etc...) a blenny or goby, spotted or Bangaii cardinals, to name a few. Seahorses are very timid and will not eat with fish that are very active. They are also very slow movers so they would need to be in with slow swimming fish in order to be able to catch their food. If you decide to get some, I'd recommend buying a good book or checking online for seahorse info as to what they need as far as water conditions and food. I have and raise them are they are alot of entertainment. IP: Logged |
