 Bala shark loosing scales

I have two bala shark one 8 inches the other 6 inches in a large tank with a lot of other fish including knife , elephant nose,clown loaches, black widows and several types of cat fish. The sharks appeared perfectly healthy and got on quite well with the other fish. However today I noticed both sharks have started loosing a lot of scales. I had not changed anything except I had added a fairly large red lotus water plant to the tank the day before. Can anyone help with this problem? Thanks in advance, Deanie IP: Logged |

sorry, I don't have the answer. But i thought i'd let you know that your not alone. My bala's are missing some scales too. I never really worried about it though. =) IP: Logged |
