Electric Yellow (Labidochromis caeruleus) is a male (male ventral fins are usually black - as in the pircture you have supplied - whereas the females are much lighter with almost no black colouring at all). I would say that your male is very lonely and would most probably be a lot happier if he had about three or four females to keep him company. There is a lot of information on this fish on the net - read up about him - the species is a beautiful fish to have in your tank! IP: Logged |
