a young woman, early 20s, was arrested. 2 people called the police regarding this young woman that owned a boxer that was a barker. Althought none of the neighbors complained - it's assumed the dog belonged to her cause the neighbors suddenly noticed (shortly after the boxer was found tortured and near death on the side of the road) that they hadn't heard the dog barking in awhile. So they phoned their suspicions to the police. This young woman is cooperating fully with the police. So it's believed she probably strapped the dog's mouth shut cause he was a barker - why she did that to his penis is unknown probably just out of being p'oed with the dog and couldn't control her emotions.

I'm so happy happy they found the person that could do this...and to their own dog!!!! She'll be charged with a felony for the torturing of this animal

Mary, Thank you for the news article. So many people have stepped in to help that poor dog, and it realy warms your soul to see it! It just amazes me that ANYONE can be so cruel and HEARTLESS. But unfortunantly there are many out there. This made me think "yet again" of poor Duke. I wish they would catch that MONSTER as well. And to think the man that slashed Duke with a knife, had a dog of his own is so disturbing.... ONE DOWN! one more to go!!! I keep praying about that one......Anyway, thanks again for the update...

I am so glad they got her. It truly takes a sick person to do something like that to a defensless animal.
Thanks so much for keeping us updated on this story.

Way to go!! I am so happy this poor excuse for a human being is getting what's coming to her! Makes you wonder if she can do this to a dog, how is she around children? I hope she doesn't have any...

the news report tonight said she used to work in a dog kennel....sure glad my dog never went there. I bet a lot of people who took their dog(s) there (they gave the name of the kennel on the news) are wondering what their dogs might have had to deal with.
