I ahve been reading some horror stories about Pedigree dog food online. Does anyone know what this is about??? All I know is that people are claiming that dogs are dying for unknown reasons and they are linking it to Pedigree dog food.

Please post all address's here I would like to confirm this. I feed my guys Pedigree and have for many years. I do not mean to put you down in any way but there are people out there that get a sick kick out of such stuff, like the Febreze panic some time back ( not real) or KFC raising there chicken in cages tied up. If there is any truth to the articles I well contact Pedigree and ask them there thoughts.

Someone else posted the article that described what was going on...If its not in all dog forum it might be in the cat or pitbull or toy forum(Im sorry I dont remeber which one. The article also talked about Whiska cat food. I use to feed my old dog pedigree but then i switched and when I did there was a huge differnce in her coat, behavior, and health...I now feed Canadie (sp?)

Wow....I remember years ago when I was using that for my dogs, that I noticed what appeared to be "wires", short and hard stiff wires/hairs in the food sticking out and promptly stopped. I will always wonder about that!

snopes.com is a good place to check if you think something you read may be a hoax.

they normally are right on top of the game.
