Does anyone rollarblade with their dog? I took Cameron around the block twice yesterday, and she just loved it!! I was nervous at first that she would try to run out in front of me and I might run her over, but after trying to pounce on my rollarblades a few times, she gave up and did really well! I think really enjoys it because she can actually go at her pace- which is pretty much running all the time, and it really is good exercise for her! The only problem we have it when we both really get going, I need to teach her to stop on command or something so that stopping is easier!!

hello...I tried it once after I had just gotten my dog...she wasn't trained to heel yet and she was kind of scared of the rollerblades (didnt work out so well) But I have been meaning to try now cause she doesnt pull on the leash at all now and listens to me well(I also taught her the stop command, which works well unless she stops right in front of me hehe) Also she isnt scared of them anymore...just skateboards!(I think all dogs hate skateboards)
It is great exercise (as long as your dog isnt pulling you around...thats no fun and a little scary) I would make sure you have a harness on though so her neck doesnt get pulled incase she does pull. I love rollerblading, now you have gotten me in the mood I might just have to go to our local park now and try it once agian.

I rollarblade with Ranger occasionaly, but not in a while, because he gets to pulling so hard, that even if I told him to stop, I would probably just fly by and bring him with me (I have yet to master the whole 'brake' thing!). The only way to stop with him is to fall over or sit down. (I have used falling a few times, of course, that was because there was a big bump I didn't see...)
