I know rescue people are way busy but the descriptions and photos of dogs sometimes amaze me. We all know that a good photo of a dog goes a very long ways in getting them homes and the description is very important. I read that description of Annie and heard "cha ching", and visualized the cash flowing from my pocket. In actuality those issues are probably pretty solvable and don't have to be very expensive. Where are the good things about Annie...funy little quirks or her likes? Is she well trained? house trained? get along with other dogs? children? I don't think a book needs to be written, but what is written should at leaste have some thought behind it. After all the object is to find the perfect home for Annie. IP: Logged |

What an awful description! Who would ever adopt her with so many others available?! Unless someone feels sorry for her and takes the time to get to know her GOOD points, she is going to be there a long time.

Thats what I thought, Kinda like they aren't trying to promote their dogs anymore. I see alto of that in the descriptions of the animals now....sad.... Ralph turned out ok. Now he's going for a serious make over. Found out one thing, he LOVES (emphasize that more) LOVES balls...anything that rolls actually, Rocks, balls, tires (off the lawn mower) and trailer balls....That dog plays with anything that will roll on the ground!
