I am so excited I just heard on the radio a dog bakery and general store has opened up. I cant wait to check it out. I live in a town of 80,000 and the only pet store really is Petco. We have a few small pet stores but I wont go because they are the the ones that sell dogs, cats birds reptiles, etc, and they dont carry dog food, wierd. honeybear IP: Logged |

they will be! Jake will have a field day, one time when I took him to petco and they have this area where all of the treats you can buy bulk are just there counter height, I wasnt paying attention standing in line there is Jake standing up with is mouth in the bins just munching down treats. LOL Honeybear! MMMMMMM the bulk isle, every dogs heaven. These kinds of shops are becomming more and more popular and widespread, people like to pamper their pets. I am amazed at how many we have in and around Portland, we really have alot. I know this is sad...but usually Darby doesn't get to go to the petstore with us, it's always the big boys. But recently we took him into PetsMart and he was a maniac at the fish tanks, he got so excited by the fish flitting around you would have thought they were milkbones with fins. IP: Logged |

I have always wanted to do something like this but living in CA it is almost impossible to start a small business these days with lawsuits (dog bites) and workmens comp insurance. Now I want to check it out on my way home from work honeybear IP: Logged |
