Interesting! I agree with the author, I think. Dogs are not mini-humans, nor should they have human rights. Besides, it all seems like semantics to me. Why don't we just pass some more protection laws, and perhaps a mandatory license program where potential owners have to attend classes, etc - just like getting your drivers license?
