I have gone to the dentist two days in a row now..today was not a good day, the left side of my face was temporarily paralyzed, it's still swollen and the numbness is starting to wear off and be replaced by pain. Ever since I got home Witt has been following me around and every chance he gets he tries to stick his tongue IN my mouth! He just won't leave me alone. Dooley keeps sniffing my mouth and when he does Witt goes after him aggressively..... pain pills take me away!

That's too funny! I swear my dog Harley is so intuitive with me. If I hurt my leg, wrist anything, she is right there licking and trying to take care of mommy. Its too cute. But I have to admit, sometimes I like to be nurtured to.

Oh! poor Maisey! I hate going to the dentist!

When I was sick awhile back with the flu, Casey stayed right by my side the whole time...

Hope you get to feeling better soon

Hope you are feeling better!! A couple of months ago, I spent a week in the hospital, when I got home the dogs went nuts! Serene walked by my side like she actually KNEW the heel position, and when I was lying down, she'd lie by my side. My husband would try to get her ouside for a play and she'd look at him like "are you nuts? Mamma doesn't feel good!!" They are amazing creatures!

LOL, Maisey- I too was expecting a pic of Witt in a nurses suit- too funny!

Seriously, though, it's funny that you should post this, because I too had a bad day at the dentist today (I am in the process of two root canals- yuck!) and Cameron has been obsessed with my mouth since I've been home. I have pretty much been laying in bed since I got back, and she keeps trying to stick her tongue in my mouth too! Do you think it's because they smell the injury or something? Weird!

I don't know what it is...but it could be the smell of the materials they use, the numbing stuff...the pain pills he gave me, maybe just the blood. Witt may have been concerned over half my face being paralyzed (dentist hit a nerve), it definately looked weird. I think it's an overall mediciney smell and that he could tell I was in pain.

OH NO! Hope you all feel better! I was laughing this morning because Max seems to have this new obsession with licking my stomach ever since I've been pregnant and showing! It's too funny!
