![]() ![]() ![]() I am going to France next month for the first time so I enrolled in a 12 week French class to refresh what little I learned in high school many many years ago. Our assignment last night was to show a photograph and describe it to the class. Like high school, I am sure I got an A for content and an F for grammar but here's my short description. Can anyone translate it? Mon chien Duke. Je voudrais tu presenter mon chien. [This message has been edited by dukesdad (edited 03-09-2004).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Maisey, Very good. I just edited the sentence about the couch potato sentence by adding a missing verb so it should now finish " he IS very friendly and intelligent for a dog." The other sentence you questioned I hope reads "He does not wear clothes because he has a fur coat." I have heard that if you at least TRY to speak French that the people in Paris will be much nicer and will usually answer you in English. If you begin by asking "Parlais vous Anglais?" they will ignore you completely. I just hope I meet someone with a yellow dog so I can speak to them. LOL Dukesdad IP: Logged |
